Vestry
The Vestry of the Episcopal Church is a group of elected parishioners whose main duty is to serve Christ in conjunction with their duties as the legal representative body of the parish. The duties of Vestry members include deciding, upholding and articulating the mission of the parish. Vestry members are active members of the congregation who work closely with the rector to pray for the church, model leadership and problem-solving skills, and make positive efforts to build community. The Senior Warden is the local authority in the absence of clergy; he or she is assisted by the Junior Warden, the Clerk and the Treasurer.
